Spam is a major problem, but we've been forced to move beyond it. The solution to spam is policy filters.

Core created a bigger problem of CSAM. That's way worse than spam. Solved by BIP110.

Then ex-miners created a bigger problem of CBDC, which defeats the point in another way. Solved by BLAKE2b.

I don’t like the framing of “hope” with regards to the bitcoin project.

It feels “left to chance” and “there’s nothing we can do” and “well let’s hope it works out”.

It’s fundamentally pacifist at best and nihilistic at worse.

Saylor promoted this mantra and it was poison.

XBT is not hope.

XBT is progress.
