⚠️ ALERT: “HTTP2Shell” raises fresh concerns after the PHP warnings leaving Google’s Brotli compression library potentially vulnerable.

Discovered by OpenAI’s security team, CVE-2026-111497 affects software that decompresses malicious Brotli data, with risks extending beyond Node.js and Python.

The flaw can cause crashes, expose sensitive memory or potentially enable remote code execution BEFORE authentication in affected setups.

Researchers have demonstrated code execution in a vulnerable Node.js application.

Fixes are available, but not for every affected package. Users are urged to check bundled dependencies and upgrade to Brotli 1.2.1 or your vendor’s patched release.

We know the main focus is hardening the protocol as exploits accelerate.

We also know things are brewing in the background, as we've seen the release of FinanceComputer and some partnerships that took time to develop.

We had hints, but it would be nice if you could share a bit more, what is the clear vision and what are the next steps?

Again we had some hints about the direction, and we are seeing things being developed in that direction, but in general, leadership was a bit more quieter while building.

Why is this, is the element of surprise, not sharing so some competitors have less intel and less time to align?

I can understand all of this, but a simple reasoning will be enough for me.

Either way, im still here and will be for future, as i trust their judgement.
