@rohitshinde121@Deshpacito661 Have you looked at counter arguments and concepts such as IYI from @nntaleb in his books and undue and even harmful influence of intellectuals in Intellectuals and Society by Thomas Sowell?
There is a certain style of writing that reeks of AI. I can't be the only one who is put off by this.
Wish anyone who writes like this gets blocked by people en masse.
Goodbye Professor Pape. You might be right but I refuse to read this artificial sounding word salad.
And what just happened?
A U.S.-backed truce that halts Israeli offensive operations in Lebanon
The demand → the outcome
That’s not coincidence -- That’s leverage
@DanFriedman81 I read Project Hail Mary over the Eid Holidays. They are both right. It was a great story but the writing was just ok, the dialogue (monologue? in parts) didn't feel real and even I skipped most of the Math parts to get to the end of the story. Definitely not worth a second read!
@Jose35569692962@KevorkAlmassian I grew up under Palestinian bombs and until I started looking at genetics in 2014 I bought the theory that Jews were original and Palestinians were migrants. Then I started reading and reading... then Gaza.
@ragipsoylu Blocked him after he posted that Pakistan Navy was escorting their ships in Hormuz (they weren't). Also hate the obvious LLM generated text. I wish X had a way of identifying posts which get the author blocked by a large number of users. Would be helpful @nikitabier
The Reddit post is most likely fake. You catch an error of this scale and then post to Reddit? Don't you think folks in your company will find out (assuming it is real)?
Also, is this the first time the VP of Sales or the CFO saw any sales numbers?
a company just admitted on r/analytics that their ai agent has been inventing metrics for 3 months straight
their VP of sales made territory decisions on fabricated data. their CFO showed the board a deck full of numbers that never existed.
nobody noticed because the outputs looked right. confident summaries. clean percentages. decisive recommendations.
they only caught it by accident when someone asked to double-check one number.
this is the problem nobody in the ai agent space wants to talk about 👇
Not really how "System of Record" works in enterprise.
It's like saying since I can download my bank statement, I don't need a bank account.
First, there are many other authoratative sources that will write to "System of Record". There are workflows that will transform it.
Second there is security and audibility to make sure some hallucinated agent doesn't mutate data randomly.
But I do agree in the past companies won due to UX and DX, now they need to focus on AX
