It may sound schizo but I want you to hear me out:

-Ai obsession blows up
-Many companies demand immense amounts of resources and RAM for datacentres

-RAM manufacturers charge higher prices with glee.
-People are suffocated by price inflation

Most people are unhappy… but I think Game Publishers LOVE it.

They get to force cloud gaming on you, a true “you will own nothing and be happy”, the “rent a game” experience.

Most players and customers dislike or do not care about cloud gaming because they could afford their electronics.

Now? The game companies, and people like Strauss Zelnick can come back and pitch the same thing again, banking on players’ desperation.

They hate physical copies and DRM-free games for a reason. They want to make ALL the money, and every friend who lends or gives a game they bought to another friend, is money they cannot make.

I know the game they’re playing. I know why Stauss said things like this, likely with a smirk on his face.

They want to rip you off, and they think your misery is funny.
