@Sh4rin_Papito se suma a StarFest FGC 2026!
@Super__Yan 100% agree. You could have added the same 16 characters from all of these passes in different packaging and it would have had less people upset.
Like say Y1 would be Rashid, Terry, AKI, Akuma
Y2 Yasmine, Ed, Viper, Bison
Y3 Elena, Bosch, Sagat, Mai
etc,etc
The Champion may have destroyed entire planets, but he has never faced the Knights of Doom!
The fourth team to enter the fray in MARVEL TÅkon: Fighting Souls is led by Doctor Doom, joined by a merciless host of villains as new playable characters: Magneto, Green Goblin, and Carnage!
I finally made it to WAFFLE HOUSE.
The staff are always friendly, and when I asked if they would sell me a menu, they sold me one for $5.
Next time, Iāll be back at 3 a.m. for fight time.

Street Fighter 6 // Progress Log: FINAL
We hit Master! Reaching Master on SF6 was my tutorial to the FGC. With the tutorial being complete, this means my Street Fighter journey comes to an end, for now.
Overall, I really enjoyed the experience of learning a fighting game - even at an introductory level. As someone who gets VERY obsessive over improvement, the sheer skill diff was a real breath of fresh air lol.
I genuinely enjoyed the cyclical experience of getting my ass beaten, figuring out why and how my ass was beaten, and then beating some ass in return. Itās also just so cool to me how that cycle just perpetually repeats forever! To me, thatās what the core of a fighting game is.
However, I canāt say the whole experience was sunshine and rainbows. Iād say that my raw enjoyment of SF6 definitely tapered down in mid-Diamond, and it took me a while to figure out the what, why, and how, for why I began to enjoy the game less.
I think I just didnāt really enjoy the drive mechanic, specifically DRC and DI.
At lower ranks, people obviously donāt utilize all of the tools and mechanics the game gives you. Duh. I sort of knew how powerful and game-warping DRC was, but I couldnāt really comprehend it until I experienced it.
Once I started playing in high Diamond, DR and DRC basically took over a majority of fights - honestly the entire game lmao.
I really just didnāt enjoy the mechanics tbh. I didnāt really enjoy using DRC, and it felt really frustrating to deal with. Even after learning the options to deal with DR and DRC, between holding block, checking raw DR, or using EX DP to punish mindless DRC, it just felt⦠boring? But at the same time, it felt overwhelming?
It took me a pretty long time to like, mentally articulate, why exactly I didnāt like Drive. Itās weird, but in a way it made fights feel boring/samey and volatile at the same time.
Whoops, got hit by CrMk -> DRC -> Level 3 CA. Just died from 60%!
Combining the volatility and huge swings that come from DRC, a lot of the times it felt like DI boiled down to a āFeeling Lucky?ā button, where itās just really bad to press it most of the time but someoneās you randomly catch them off guard and then BOOM! Level 3 combo -> dead from 60%.
Like yeah, you can overload their mental stack to increase the odds of catching them off-guard, but still lol.
And donāt get me wrong, please donāt interpret my complaints as a lack of awareness of skill issue. Iām well aware that most of my frustrations revolving Drive instantly are solved by improving my fundamentals and learning my matchups.
I just personally didnāt enjoy using DRC, simply wasnāt satisfying for me. And it would feel exhausting playing 5+ fights in a row of āCheck their DR/Punish their DRC!ā simulator.
Also, I think my favorite part of fighting games BY FAR is neutral. Since you can basically use Drive to skip neutral, that also is a reason why I didnāt really enjoy it.
Overall though, I still REALLY enjoyed SF6. I got way my addicted than I thought I would lol. Assuming the Tifa leaks are real (grew up on Kingdom Hearts + FF7,) I can definitely see myself returning to the game, relearning on Classic, and pushing for 1800.
Until then, my true challenge in the FGC begins.
The end of one journey marks the beginning of another.
