Thinking it’s as simple as yield goes up USA gets hurt (but we’ll be fine),is more adorable provincialism lol

We can be certain it would hurt more than just the US considering the entire world economy has been built on it. @cascadedrain The subject of your first sentence, ‘the “broken English” ’, is singular therefore the verb to use is ‘is’, not ‘are’. You should double check your subject verb agreement before insisting the work of your countrymen is much more understandable.
