So proud and excited for this team to finally get it out in the open for the public to try out! I've used this estimator multiple times during development and just now to help estimate my mom's partial OAS+GIS payments. So much gratitude for this tool! 🥰
For months, our crew has been hard at work building out an interactive Old Age Security (OAS) Benefits Estimator tool. I'm super stoked to share that a fully functional alpha is now up and open for feedback on a refreshed Service Canada Labs!

Excited to be having this discussion on digital talent challenges and gathering public servants across Canada to bring a collective voice to this very pressing topic.

I'm a strong advocate of "increas[ing] your in-house capacity (as a public sector organization) to provide oversight directly". We don't have to build everything ourselves. But we do need to know enough about a subject matter to confidently steer and challenge our contractors.
Our annual family photos by @oneforthewall. Kids grow so fast!!! So lucky and previleged to have these captured every year and this year right by our home. @ Waterloo Pioneer Memorial Tower https://t.co/MVAbaXLBGd
