#MOLEG Pre-Filing Update: I pre-filed HB1911…the “Missouri Parental Choice Tax Credit Act”…it creates a refundable tax credit for parents who incur educational expenses for their children outside of public education. DOR will be responsible for managing the tax credit program.

The tax credit will reimburse parents for ed expenses up to the ‘State Adequacy Target’ for each child (DESE recently increased the SAT from $6375 to $7145).
