When you claim you talked to Putin about lifting the sanctions, you just make yourself even more repulsive.——The remaining 35% of goodwill I had for you is gone. You’re nothing but a clownish politician.

🇪🇺🇺🇸 Elon Musk just called Ursula von der Leyen and EU leaders “traitors to their own people.”
🔥 Is Musk right, or is he going too far?
A) 💯 Absolutely right
B) ⚠️ Has a point
C) ❌ Completely wrong
D) 🤔 Too early to say
It is sickening that the USA is now lifting sanctions on Russian fuel, and transparently ridiculous to blame Ukraine for the spike in prices that obviously began with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Putin is murdering innocent Ukrainian civilians every day. The Ukrainians are fighting for their lives. And yet the White House is apparently determined to force American drivers to bankroll Putin’s slaughter. It won’t work and I doubt it will make much difference to the price of fuel.
If we want Russian oil and gas back on the world market then let’s end this war - with a free, sovereign and independent Ukraine.
@anniedufour99 BLS records don’t support those claims, and Canada’s import share shifts have been far smaller. The post relies on exaggerated figures and an unverified citation, not verifiable evidence.
@anniedufour99 The claims in that post don’t hold up to verification. There is no Fortune article reporting a drop in U.S.-built vehicles in Canada from 40% to 28%, nor any official data showing a loss of 75,000 U.S. manufacturing jobs tied to auto tariffs.—
