Good morning all you amazing people out there.
I've been struggling with my mental health all night. thoughts of self harm, suicide and planning because I'm drowning in thought, emotions, voices and demons I can't stop. Took a lot of medication to help me sleep.

Emotional intelligence requires the whole body to be available for experience. Emotions are the basis of our somatic experience of life. To feel is to know what things mean to us in a way that words alone cannot define.
When attention becomes concentrated in the thinking mind—in constant interpretation, analysis and narrative—we can lose awareness of the body and disconnect from our present-moment emotional experience. Yet emotions are continually giving us information about what is happening now: what matters to us, what feels safe or threatening, what draws us closer and what makes us pull away.
A tense body has less capacity to receive this information clearly. Stress can narrow and inhibit emotional experience, while emotion itself is expressed through subtle changes throughout the body: shifts in muscle tone, posture, breath, the autonomic nervous system and patterns of movement through connective tissue. This is why a sense of nervous-system safety can be so important for connecting more deeply with our feelings.
As the body softens and relaxes, emotional experience can become more vivid and nuanced. We begin to notice not simply that we are sad, joyful, afraid or in love, but how those states actually move through us.
Emotions are powerful. They generate motivation, orient attention and help guide our decisions. They are part of what makes life feel uplifting or depressing, expansive or constricted, meaningful or empty. This may also be why surrendering our resistance to experience—learning, where appropriate, to soften and let go—can sometimes produce such profound feelings of relief, openness and love.
The more carefully we attend to how emotions actually feel, rather than only thinking about what they mean, the more intimately we come to know ourselves. And in knowing ourselves more deeply, we become better able to understand our relationship with life and with other people.

Sometimes, you just can't tell anybody how you really feel. What's really going on in your head. Not because you don't know why. Not because you don't trust them. But because you can't find the right words to make them understand. Because sometimes there are no words.

What you are dealing with isn't easy. Despite how exhausted you feel, how hard it gets, how much you struggle and how alone you feel; you don't give up. You never give up. Somehow you figure it out each day, and you just make it work. That says so much about who you are. You are a real life superhero. And I just want you to know that the weight you carry doesn't go unnoticed. I see you, and I want to remind you that you are incredible, and you got this.

You don't realise how strong you're becoming.
Because strength doesn't always feel like winning.
Sometimes it just feels like getting back up one more time.

When I fall asleep tonight please let it be the final time.
I don't want to go through the daily struggle anymore. I can't go through it anymore. It's never ending. I just want this war to be over even if it means surrender.
I've never been more ready.
