@spiderwebsoft To the extent that I am seeing AI atrophy communication skills in university, it may be good to disincentivize sustained repeated behavior that would be considered abusive if you were chatting with a human because llms are "good enough at faking they're humans".

@Atridas87 Yo creo que tiene razón, pero sólo en el sentido estricto de que dibujar tampoco es una art-form. Escribir, programar, dibujar... Son sólo formas de expresión que se pueden utilizar "creativamente y artísticamente" o no.

@camocamo_d Coding, just like drawing, is a practice that allows you to express whatever you want, as creatively as you want. Regardless of what medium you express yourself through, AI stays the same and takes away human intent, with the same consequences and costs.

@catpublic10 The reasons are exactly the same than for illustration, writing or composition. Whether you are pro or an anti: It was trained the same way, has the same impact on people and the world, and it removes every choice not explicitly made, defaulting to "perfect" (average) decisions

Could you unblock the Spelunky 2 servers made by fellow european companies, hosted on european servers? Bonus points if you/ISPs stop hijacking dns requests of the people who fund you to route them through your DNS instead of the DNS of their choice.

@lemire @ChristianJauvin I agree that cs has changed, but instead of focusing on "teaching students to solve problems they can't solve without AI", I'd focus on teaching them how to make what ai couldn't make without them.

@Love2Code @awesomekling I think there is more harm being done by the constant hype and fearmongering online, than by expertise being replicated by AI. After all, we don't know yet if this will result in more or less demand for people with that expertise.
