i’ll never understand those who see israel committing the most horrific massacres on a daily basis, kidnapping & raping palestinian doctors & journalists to death, & still have the gall to condemn hamas.
they only have sympathy for palestinians as long as they don’t fight back.
In case you’re distracted by the shiny buildings in Kushner’s vision for Gaza, their plan is keep Palestinians in hyper-surveilled prison camps where they’ll eventually provide cheap labor for the resorts/high rises they won’t be allowed to live in, all built atop a mass grave.
One year ago today, we watched children burn in tents as they stretched their arms out for help.
We lost our dear Shaaban Al-Dalu that day in the fires.
Late journalists Ahmed Hisham and Saleh al-Jafarawi were there to cover the massacre
Every image, every frame of Palestinian hostages emerging from Israeli custody is devastating. Again and again, we see emaciated, tortured bodies - faces hollowed by grief and exhaustion. That these victims of Israeli torture camps are not recognized as such is itself another injustice, compounding the mountain already borne by Palestinians.
He literally gave his life documenting Israeli atrocities, and the day after his death they erase it all. Its evil. They’re sending the message they will erase us. They justify and then conceal the war crimes, beyond complicity its collaboration in genocide.
NEW | Instagram has removed the verified account of Gaza slain journalist Saleh al-Jafarawi, who had 4.5 million followers.
Archived snapshots of his page on the Wayback Machine, the largest public internet archive, also appear to have been wiped or disabled, raising concerns about digital erasure of Palestinian documentation.
Al-Jafarawi, known for his frontline reporting on the Gaza genocide, had previously faced repeated censorship. He was killed yesterday by an armed group collaborating with Israel.
Observers warn that these developments may signal “a new phase in efforts to erase evidence of Israeli war crimes from the internet.”
🚨It seems that Israel started its violations of the ceasefire.
A military helicopter is CURRENTLY firing at homes west of the Gaza City.
Drones are heavily flying over our heads.
🚨Dr. Mohammed Abu Lahia revealed that journalist Saleh al-Jaafarawi was kidnapped, brutally beaten, and executed by collaborators working with the Israeli occupation.
In his message mourning his friend, Dr. Abu Lahia said that Saleh had confided in him before his death that he was being hunted by these collaborators and feared they would eventually kill him. “They betrayed you, just like you told me they would,” he wrote. “You said, ‘If I don’t die by the occupation, I’ll die at the hands of the collaborators’, and that’s exactly what happened.”

We have lost too many Journalists in Gaza.
This video of Saleh Al-Jafarawi and Anas Al-Sharif celebrating the first ceasefire breaks my heart.
May God have mercy on their souls 💔
The ways in which zionism hunts life, turns every celebration into mourning and steps over hearts and souls leaving nothing but traces of blood is a story that must inspire a complete and total rejection of zionism in every space that exists. They took the best of us.
❤️🩹One of the last videos of martyred journalist Saleh al-Jaafarawi shows him smiling as he helps children take turns to wear his press vest. “I’m raising the next generation,” he says. “Even if they target us, the children will take our place and continue this mission."

Courageous journalist Saleh al-Jaafarawi, who plated a key role in exposing the Israeli genocide in Gaza, carrying on the work of his colleagues killed by the occupation, most recently martyr Anas al-Sharif, was assasinated by Zionist collaborators in Gaza City.
In God’s heavens
Perhaps it slips your mind that the crowds you see in the picture are not returning to anything — our homes and streets no longer exist. Everything has turned into emptiness, rubble upon sand. All that remains are the photos we’ve kept in our memories and on our phones, and a bit of love we’ve tucked away deep in our hearts to nurture our children with — a love for the soil of this land that knows our souls and our faces well.
We are not returning to our houses, but to resist all this injustice, to plant, to build, and to light up our homeland anew.
We return, carried by longing, walking tens of kilometers without feeling tired.
