@rand_longevity Either a simulation, or quantum immortality is real; I passed through a death glitch once- pedestrian man vs car on highway and man won.
Got hit by a car 30 years ago walking on the highway, $1000 damage to front of car, probably $4000 today, I was ok, like just respawned. They looked for my body in the woods with dogs, called all the hospitals and wrote about it in the paper. I just walked drunk to the next party, and the first thing I remember when I got there was seeing the love of my life. It was like a dream, but I’ve got the receipts.
@soleoado I’ve felt this way for 30 years since I was hit by a car as a drunk teenager crossing the road. 65mph, $1000 damage to car, thigh hurt not broken kept stumbling along, I heard sirens, they had dogs looking for my body in the woods. It was like I was reborn.
@Kekius_Sage As a pedestrian I was hit by a car going 65mph. The car was smashed up and I wasn’t. I don’t know how to explain this beyond either Quantum Immortality , simulation theory, or miracle of God.
@9mmsmg And they changed the scoring so that a great score doesn’t look that much better than a shit score. Example 528 vs 493; old scoring would be 45 and 19. As someone who’s taken the mcat, getting sub 500 means you are retarded.
Oh for sure they’d never not spend that extra cash on a boat, lottery tickets, or something else objectively unwise. Dave and others serve a purpose for that segment of society. While you and I may get paid to use our credit cards every month, I get credit is a dangerous tool in the wrong hands. Hell that was def me at age 20.
