If one day #XRP hits $100, there are some things you need to do to stay compliant when you decide to cash in:

1. Keep records of all your transactions. Especially if you are using a cold wallet

2. Spread tokens across more than 2 wallets, this way you can minimise losses if you get hacked
3. If you drop $100k into your bank account, you will attract awful lot of attention, it's best to do smaller transactions.

4. When you cash, calculate your tax liability and put it on a separate account so you don't spend it.

5. Don't tell people, especially online. Professionals have bots that scour the net looking for targets. They can then piece together your personal info from multiple posts, to get your name, date of birth, address, etc.

6. ALWAYS use two factor authentication. App is better than SMS. ALWAYS generate passwords using password manager. Reusing passwords means you could have used the password registering at your local coffee shop who is unlikely to have strong security.

7. Buy assets with your money, not liabilities. Handbags, cars, some watches are just blowing money. Buy a nice painting, collectible watch or other art.

8. Nothing wrong with buying some property or invest in shares with your money. You don't have to spend it like you're a billionaire.

I am no financial adviser, but these are just some prompts to go and speak to one. Seriously, get a plan in place so you can truly transform your life with your gains.

Crypto made its debut on @60Minutes tonight – there’s no doubt that these technologies will continue to become more and more mainstream - with influence and reach that will only continue to grow.

A few things I do want to comment on after watching:

I spoke with Margaret Brennan / 60Minutes for 90+ min straight. When discussing the SEC’s misguided lawsuit against Ripple, 60Minutes shockingly left out that a Federal Judge ruled that XRP is not a security…Gensler’s shill (John Reed Stark) knows better despite his comments that 60Minutes chose to air.

Lastly, to say crypto has no utility is exactly what the naysayers said about the Internet in its earliest days - that it’s nothing more than illicit activity. How vastly they were proven wrong. Today, even JPMorgan is coming around on blockchain… (conveniently 60Minutes also failed to mention that Ripple is doing billions of dollars of KYC-ed transactions for our institutional customers - leveraging XRP to move money cross-border more efficiently than traditional payment rails.)
