Warning to my students, avoid @shawacademy at all costs. They advertise free courses then trick you into paying £50 for the "materials" (NB: you don't even need to access the materials for them to take the ££). Really dodgy stuff! #highereducation #lockdownlearning #onlinecourses

[Xrykal @xrykal]

@shawacademy I am looking for a course how to cheat people! You are masters in frauds!

They have clean my account
I can't even cancel it
The only option is to block my card😓🤤

[Danielle @DanyGuadagno]

SA blocked me. First he sent me this message on direct and now I can't reply anymore. @JadeBrooksJB2 #shaw_academy #scam They just gave me bread.

[Zulu Butter. @ZinhleM___]

Sick to my stomach with Shaw Academy and their one click course upgrades, I just mistakenly bought an entire module because they don’t go through a verification process when you buy stuff. 😭💔

[Elii @EliiDaly]

@shawacademy is a scam. They refuse to give refunds, and have called me MULTIPLE TIMES NOW saying that they want to offer me a 'free three months' but when I pry deeper they're going to charge £50. #shawacademy

[ShawAcademyVictimSupport @RobyneHude]

How much longer are you going to sit back and permit #ShawAcademy to taint the reputation of Irish business on a global scale like this? Is being exposed by #BBC, #guardian, @Trustpilot and @bbb_us not enough for you ? Daily #scam victims @greenparty_ie @fiannafailparty @FineGael

[Jamie Norgarb @JamieMatthews85]

@shawacademy you are making it IMPOSSIBLE to cancel my membership! I have jumped through every hoop! I signed up fo a free trial and you have billed me R399! I want this resolved.

[Nichalia Schwartz @NichaliaSVO]

👎 Highly recommend giving @shawacademy a miss. Their app’s messed up, made an unauthorized charge for something I already had, and they are refusing to fix it or refund anything. Get your learning elsewhere.👎

[Rishabh Birla @RishabhBirla27]

@shawacademy BIGGEST FRAUDSTER EVER. We had enrolled for a 4 week free trial but after 4 days £200 got deducted for annual membership fees from our account without any notice or consent. Refund this amount ASAP. We had NEVER agreed for any charge as trial period was on.

[MoonPie @its_nhlanhla_]

@shawacademy I canceled my subscription with you a long time ago but today there was a debit order on my bank account. What is happening?

[einahpets1102 @stephmaryan]

Ok @shawacademy—I’m out of patience. I cancelled my account & was still charged $70 AFTER cancelling. It’s been over a month—I’ve been patient, reached out many times by phone/email, so I’m doing the thing I hate & turning to Twitter. Pls refund the UNAUTHORIZED charge ASAP. 🤬

@shawacademy Shaw Academy SCAM!

Hello!

Promised free training in ads! Upon registration, they ask for the details of the payment instrument, I made it through Paypal. They will later deduct money from your account without your confirmation and refuse to return it!!!
