If the RSPCA actually cares about cruelty to animals it needs to announce as a matter of urgency that it has launched a criminal investigation into the appalling cruelty of West Ham cat kicker Kurt Zouma. Its response so far is pathetically inadequate.

In 2021 the maximum sentence for animal cruelty in the #UK was raised from 6 months to 5 years in prison. The courts have to use custodial sentences so that there can me no misunderstanding.
Animal cruelty is against the law and a stay in prison should be expected. #cats #dogs
