@whitleyjyates Becuase the people in that county vote for fools who sell bonds to build infrastructure using companies that keep their families & friends employed. The bonds have to be paid interest & face amount...and you're paying for it in the sewer charges. That's why.

There could be a Marriott, Hilton & Hyatt on the same street corner...same owner & same shitty service.

@ElyteFaeva @TroutLine @Hilton It's always location specific because they're ALL owned by franchisees. People don't seem to understand that in the U.S. nearly all hotels are franchises. There are several large U.S. franchise owners that either own or manage as a third party all the major brands.

@TroutLine @Hilton Hilton doesn't own that hotel...FYI. Hilton has very little control over their franchise owners. It's my opinion Hilton gives franchises to operators & investors who are incapable of maintaining service standards. Find out who the owner is and contact the the top guy.

@FreddyLA7 Texas is a good place to get a job, live on the cheap and save to someday live where you really want. The landscape is mostly shitty & metro areas are very blighted. North Parade Island beaches are terrible compared to FL suncoast. The people of Corpus Christi are nice though.
