From discrimination and over-priced tickets, to commercial breaks and VAR issues, many people who have watched and enjoyed the World Cup since childhood are more than disappointed. The whole tournament was tainted from the beginning, starting with a fake peace prize to gratify the host country.

Acabo de oír en la radio la noticia del fallecimiento de Gustavo Gallón. Gracias a él, pudimos investigar todo lo que sucedió con la masacre de Cimitarra, -aun impune- en la que murieron asesinados los líderes campesinos Josué Vargas, Miguel Ángel Barajas, Saúl Castañeda y mi hermana Silvia. Su trabajo como defensor de los derechos humanos nos dio, a muchas víctimas, nuevas razones para seguir trabajando y queriendo a este país. Su partida nos entristece. A todos los amigos de la Comisión Colombiana de juristas y a su familia, mis condolencias.
