Theo의 thBILL은 스테이블코인이 아니다.

앞으로 RWA 프로젝트들과 토큰들이 많이 나올텐데, 우리가 이를 다루기 위해서는 개념을 명확히 하고 넘어갈 필요가 있습니다.

@Theo_Network 는 다양한 RWA들의 토큰화와 거래, 유통을 돕기 위한 프로젝트이지만, 현재는 미국 단기국채(T-Bills)기반의 유동화 토큰인 $thBILL 만 존재합니다. @arbitrum 체인을 기반으로 하고 있죠.

thBILL의 기반 자산인 미국 단기국채(T-Bills)가 1달러에 근접한 가격으로 거래되는 자산이라 "엥? 이거 달러 스테이블코인 아닌가" 하며 혼동이 될수 있습니다.
하지만 명확히 thBILL은 1USD에 페깅된 자산이 아니라 T-Bills 라는 다른 자산에 연동된 자산입니다.

미국 단기 국채 펀드의 순자산가치(NAV)는 보통 연간 약 4~5%가량 증가합니다. 이에 따라 $thBILL 의 가치도 점차 1$에서 오르게 되죠.
거기다 Theo는 사용자 편의를 위해 정기 리베이스를 통해 토큰을 1USD로 맞추고 이자를 지급하지도 않습니다.
즉, thBILL은 지금은 1USD이 근접하지만 연간 4~5%씩 가치가 상승하는 미국 단기국채를 기반으로 하는 토큰인 것이죠.

앞으로 미국 단기 국채가 아닌 1USD와 차이가 있는 RWA 자산들의 토큰화가 다양하게 이루어 지고, 이들에 대한 거래가 매우 활발해 질텐데 우리는 해당 자산의 가치가 어떻게 움직이는 것인지를 잘 알고 거래해야 할 것입니다.
