Thank you for highlighting our story
Sometimes innovation begins with questioning the things people overlook every day. Used engine oil is often seen as waste, yet it holds so much untapped value.
Proud to keep pushing for a cleaner and more sustainable Uganda through @afrooil
Turning Black Waste Into Green Opportunity
@xytun | Afrolube ltd
Zaitun Namuwonge is rethinking used engine oil in Uganda.
After discovering that used engine oil can be recycled, she asked a powerful question: Where does all the used engine oil from Uganda’s cars go?
That question exposed a gap in collection and disposal — and became the foundation for AfroLube Ltd
Her story reminds us that innovation often starts by questioning what everyone else ignores.
