The sound design in The Last Of Us Part II is brilliant. Many of the noises you hear while playing will make you tense and scared, especially the one coming from your PS4's fan.
@baldwin_jed@thislukesmith@Professorbroman It leads us back to where you say I know nothing about "making games". Where in my original argument was I saying I know what's best for the game? I don't think VoG is bad, hell I think Destiny in general is a respectable looter shooter. Double recycling content is funny is all.
@baldwin_jed@thislukesmith@Professorbroman The other thing is that my cynical veiew is based on previous experience with Destiny 2. Every time the come out with something great it changes for the worse. It's a cycle that I stopped shilling out money for a long time ago but watch from afar.
@baldwin_jed@thislukesmith@Professorbroman I have my opinion and you have yours. I can see where you're coming from but my reasoning differs from yours. I do think that it will still take effort from the devs to implement. I'm looking more at the psychological side of this argument and not the physical one.
@baldwin_jed@thislukesmith@Professorbroman Only other thing I'll say, is that don't just assume shit about other people. Calling someone an idiot is crazy if you live as a fucking NPC who doesn't know what marketing looks like. This entire argument has nothing to do with "making games", it has to do with recycled content.
@baldwin_jed@thislukesmith@Professorbroman I just think it's funny that here we are again with a piece of old content that people remember fondly. This isn't a Destiny issue, this is a marketing issue. As far as I know these past few months have been dark times for D2, so ofc we'll bring back old content.
@baldwin_jed@thislukesmith@Professorbroman There is this thing companies do called "marketing" and the point of it is to get you to want to use/try/play etc. their product. So let's apply it to this case. The fact that Bungie is bringing VoG to D2 is making you want to play it right? So where does that lead us?
