@dacort If you install an electrical box in a combustable material (e.g., cabinet wood), the front of the box MUST be flush with or protrude from the surface, and the hole you cut must be tight (IIRC, 1/8" or smaller gap, preferably caulked).
@dacort NEC requires at least one receptacle "on a wall or partition that is adjacent to basin or basin countertop", with exception allowing "side or face of basin cabinet". Nothing prohibiting inside cabinet, but most contractors/builders do minimum.
@davidhoang I switched to 3-position desk ~3y ago, and use this as a leaning perch when in the middle position or as a seat in the low position. Off-center base makes leaning less precarious than other options.

@davidhoang I fear many remote-maybe companies will snap back to remote-never as soon as they are able. Remote-first requires investment, but it pays dividends.
This will be my seventh year participating in The Big Climb, a fundraiser to find a cure for Leukemia and other circulatory cancers.
This year COVID caused the climbing day to be pushed back and to become virtual,… https://t.co/8WXKlTu8xZ
@robdaemon @morinap@dacort@agasthya1 IIRC, it was an empty 50-gallon drum from the Mercedes dealership across the street, with a 1-gallon pump-action bottle of Purell inside it and a giant logo sticker.
@bradfitz I recently purchased a Walabot DIY, basically a smart phone accessory radar for detecting what is in walls, calls out wire/pipe/studs. Not perfect, but helpful.
@pdxposhy "INSIDE" is etherial, dark, and weird, with beautiful thematic soundtrack.
"Human Resource Machine" and its sequel "7 Billion Humans" are fun computery-learning games, if merely ports from other platforms.
"Celeste" is also a port, but super addictive platforming.
