Men are expected to arrive fully built: physically strong, mentally healed, emotionally available, and financially secure, while being told to accept women “as they are.” That double standard is part of the reason many men are starting to believe that long-term dating in this generation isn’t worth it.
Men also don’t want to chase a woman who doesn’t seem interested or isn’t willing to put in any effort. Mutual interest isn’t diva behavior, it’s basic reciprocity. Common sense isn’t so common anymore.
When is the last time you heard a woman say she's looking for someone to love? All I ever hear from women is that they are looking for someone to love them.
How can humans develop mutual, empathetic connections when both men and women think "they are the prize"?
What better evidence is there, that we are in a narcissism pandemic?
That's the root cause by my conclusion.
What no one is saying: Love is the prize...
