Those attacking Rarara are missing the point. What Davido did at the World Cup stage was completely wrong. The World Cup is one of the biggest global events, watched by millions around the world, yet instead of promoting Nigeria’s strengths, culture, and achievements, he chose to highlight the country’s problems before an international audience.

No patriotic citizen should be comfortable with exposing the nation’s weaknesses on such a massive platform. Criticizing problems at home is one thing, but presenting them to the world in a way that damages the country’s image is another. Nigeria deserves better representation than that.

Rarara simply spoke his mind and defended the dignity of the nation. Rather than being insulted or attacked, he deserves credit for standing up for what many Nigerians believe. Speaking the truth should never be treated as a crime.

A true patriot promotes the image of his country before the world while working to solve its challenges through the proper channels. That is why many people believe Davido was wrong and that Rarara’s response was justified.

While the Sheikh was delivering the Eid sermon, I was watching the live broadcast when I noticed something that deeply touched my heart and threw me into deep reflection.

It reminded me that while many of us are wearing new clothes today to celebrate Eid, some people are being taken to the graveyard instead of the Eid prayer ground.

If you look closely, there was a corpse beside the Sheikh, wrapped in a shroud.

That servant of Allah may have hoped to wake up this morning alive. Perhaps he even tailored new clothes to celebrate this day with his family.

But Allah decreed that his garment for today would be a burial shroud instead.

Wallahi, we should fear Allah.

Death does not consider the importance of the day or moments of celebration.

May Allah grant us all a good ending.

May Allah forgive the deceased and shower him with His mercy.

Fear is the frightening thought that causes anxiety or worry. Fear gives you negative thoughts and reduces your self confidence. Fear is the first hindrance towards for all your actions. In contrast, one who is fearless to tread any path wins the appreciation and gains a lot of confidence and courage.

God’s desire is that we continually progress, that we reach higher heights and go to new levels.

Oftentimes, as soon as we make the decision to step out in faith and do good things, the BAD SIDE as I call it, brings in fear to try to stop us. They will bring thoughts like, “What if you fail? What are other people going to think? You don’t have what it takes.” They will do their best to use fear to try to convince us to shrink back and stay where we are.

Fear has the tendency to spread like wild fire and is also contagious. Fear increases the challenge and will not help to come out of the crisis. The first step towards wisdom is to conquer fear and remove it from our minds. So, be wise.

I’ve heard it said that fear is an acronym for False Evidence Appearing Real. Understand that fear is a lie. Just know that God has your back! So let go of that fear in your life , have faith and move forward into the good life He has prepared for you!

I have some words of wisdom to share with you. I was having an interesting conversation with someone and the one thing that I found very enlightening was, if everybody could be an Olympic gold medalist then everybody would choose to be,... but as we all know, not everyone can be that.
If you want things to happen in your career, your life, or your personal relationships you need to make a significant effort to make things happen.
It's interesting that a close friend of mine who is an entertainment executive was representing what he thought was the next big music act. The guy couldn't even cut it after 6 months and hightailed it outta Los Angeles so fast because he couldn't handle "the business".
If you really want to be successful and have your dreams and desires come true, you have to go for the big enchilada so to speak. If you go for something minimal, then you'll get minimal result. If you go for the big thing it's better. You can try to succeed as much as you can, rather than going for something half ass (as I call it) and not succeed at all.
Really look at your life now and ask yourself, "Am I going for my every desire? Am I going for my dreams?" and if you're only doing it half ass don't go around complaining about the outcome.
If you want something, go after it and don't complain, don't give excuses go for it. You have only one life, so go live it and don't do it half ass! Don't wake up 50 years later and said I should have or could have gotten my dreams.

The time is NOW so go do it! 👊
