@OctopusEnergy I'm currently on your Tracker tariff. Could you please confirm whether I can switch supplier or another octopus tariff within 49 days of the end of my fixed term without having to wait 9 months to go back to Tracker if I change my mind? Thanks.
@OctopusEnergy very disappointed with your service recently. My meters have stopped communicating and you're fobbing me off for the last 2 weeks. Engineer is coming to my neighbour today and simply asked if they could come to me too to reset meters and install isolator switch!😠
@jamiewake@OctopusEnergy Thanks but this is different than jumping straight to it - I know a lot did when the waiting list was firstly introduced in Feb. This person was on the waiting list for 10 days only before she was moved. This is very odd and not fair for those waiting 2 months already.
@OctopusEnergy is the tracker waiting time of 6 months an actual thing or do you just say that to deter people from joining? I just saw someone on the unofficial Octopus Facebook group saying they switched after being on the waiting list for only 10 days?
@AndrewS01250914 I used that website as well but yes they stopped updating it just before the wait list was introduced. The app/link I sent in my previous message has been developed by a friend and updates the usual times like mysmartenergy used to.
@AndrewS01250914 Don't waste your breath, they will not respond as I asked them the same questions before. There are 3rd party apps that show you tomorrow's rates like this one: https://t.co/MdtFMN4ymu
@Yorkhippo Better to give them a call - they generally honour switch requests initiated before the wait list introduction on the 14th but it depends on the CS agent you talk to. Vulnerable customers on the priority list (your mum should be on it) can also get on it directly.
@northern_star20 @OctopusEnergy@m4likpro On their website about tracker it now says:"...we've introduced a new sign up process to keep Tracker sustainable..". I guess this means they were losing out from so many switching to tracker as they have bought energy in advance (when prices were high) for Flexi customers.
@OctopusEnergy@m4likpro What are the reasons for now putting people on a waiting list for the tracker? This is unfair as customers could switch to it straight away until yesterday.
@OctopusEnergy@g__j Additionally, tracker is your tariff and we should not rely on 3rd party apps/websites to find out day ahead rates. Please sort this out, there are way too many people on Tracker now which want to know tomorrow's rates. You do it for your agile customers already!(2/2)
@OctopusEnergy@g__j Could you please fix your API for the November 22 tracker so it releases day ahead rates like the previous tracker tariffs do? All other trackers show day ahead rates at about 6pm for gas and 11am for electricity. Why is it taking you months to update this?
@OctopusEnergy@g__j Main 3rd party website (https://t.co/QEtLgAcgBh) has now stopped showing day ahead rates. 3rd party app (Octo-aid) is only available for IOS and shows incorrect day ahead rates as it gets data from your API and old July 22 tracker tariff. (1/2)
@SportiveLakes I was with them but recently switched to Octopus. They have been brilliant and only ones to offer wholesale tracker tariffs which are currently cheaper. Definitely worth the switch! Let me know if you want a £50 referral code for switching.
@OctopusEnergy Could you update my IHD to show tracker rates please? It's still showing Flexible rates. I've noticed you've done this for others here. Thank you.
@OctopusEnergy Octopus any response on this please? It seems you have been updating IHDs to show tracker rates (average perhaps rather than change daily).
