@KevinCornejo1@ViewerAnon@_onthewayjay I mean it literally says in your pic that it maintained strong viewership. That number is only for first night USA viewers, you realize people outside the US watch it too, right? And most people don’t watch it the second it airs, especially Memorial Day weekend.
@DrexylYT@ViewerAnon@_onthewayjay There’s a reason shows are available for more than just the night they air. Viewership over time is what brings in money, if it’s growing months after release that shows there is in fact interest in both seasons
@DrexylYT@ViewerAnon@_onthewayjay I’m not claiming that lots of people didn’t like season 2, obviously lots didn’t and that’s fine, but you were saying it didn’t average 37 million viewers when it in fact did. First night US viewership is a very small percentage of the fan base, even in the US most watch it later
@DrexylYT@ViewerAnon@_onthewayjay It’s after a month worldwide, season 2 premiered in mid April, these are May numbers. Also, worldwide viewership over time is how the success of a show in the streaming age is determined, the companies want it to retain subscribers over time, and I don’t think HBO releases watch time
@austin2727_@DrexylYT@ViewerAnon@_onthewayjay Just what comes up when I google something nowadays, and then I used Grok cause lots of these people on Twitter base everything on what Grok says. And also cause the company who made the show wasn’t a good enough source for him apparently, so I provided more.
@DrexylYT@ViewerAnon@_onthewayjay Warner Bros themselves confirmed the 37 million… your sources are basing it purely off debut US numbers. And season 1 didn’t get astronomical numbers? Biggest debut season in HBO history, and the most watched show in the history of HBO on streaming in Europe and Latin America
@_onthewayjay It averaged 37 million viewers per episode worldwide in less than two months. There are far more people in the world who watch HBO shows than just US. Most HBO shows never get half this viewership
@DrexylYT@ViewerAnon@_onthewayjay It averaged 37 million viewers per episode worldwide in less than two months. There are far more people in the world who watch HBO shows than just in America, a 50% drop in first night US viewership on a holiday weekend does not represent the full global viewership during its run
@MrBeast@JonnyBlox Neither score is important.Audience scores can be manipulated by review bombing and people who haven’t even watched it. Art is subjective, so ultimately the only metric that should matter for whether or not it’s good is your own. If it’s something you think you’d enjoy, watch it.
@Maldrick_@IGN I’m on PlayStation so not sure if it’ll be the same on Xbox, but for me I just went and checked for an update on the game and it started downloading. Then once it’s done downloading photo mode should be available, and the new area is near lumiere. Hope this helps!
@NaughtyDogWorld Dina acts as her guiding light, helping her see what she already knows. Even when Ellie realizes things, her addiction takes over. She ignores Tommy for Abby. She leaves her pregnant girlfriend to go after Nora. She’s lost herself and tries to mask it.
@NaughtyDogWorld Also,Ellie isn’t incompetent. After Joel died she does lose herself. We see how she’s become more impulsive as her obsession with Abby is like an addiction. As soon as she has any lead, she wants to follow it without thinking of the consequences. But she still knows what she’s doing.
