Matusadona National Park, in partnership with Buffalo Bikes and World Bicycle Relief, has distributed 200 bikes to Makande and Negande high schools in the Nyaminyami Rural District in Zimbabwe. The initiative provides bikes to students living 20 km or more from school or who are particularly vulnerable, such as those from child-headed households. The hardy Buffalo Bikes are maintained by the students themselves, with support from a trained local mechanic. The impact has been profound, in the form of the students’ remarkable academic improvements – showcasing the transformative power of this initiative.

Hachiko became famous for waiting patiently for his owner, Professor Hidesaburo Ueno, outside Shibuya Train Station in Tokyo, every day, even after Ueno's death in 1925. For nearly a decade, Hachiko returned to the same spot day after day, waiting for his beloved master to return.

He became a symbol of unwavering loyalty and unconditional love ...
