BREAKING: President Biden comes out swinging after the Arizona Supreme Court upholds an abortion ban from 1864, slamming it as "cruel" and a result of the Republican Party's "extreme agenda."

And he was just getting started with his fiery remarks...

"Millions of Arizonans will soon live under an even more extreme and dangerous abortion ban, which fails to protect women even when their health is at risk or in tragic cases of rape or incest," Biden said in his statement.

"This cruel ban was first enacted in 1864 — more than 150 years ago, before Arizona was even a state and well before women had secured the right to vote," Biden went on. "This ruling is a result of the extreme agenda of Republican elected officials who are committed to ripping away women’s freedom."

The court's decision to uphold the outdated law from before Arizona was even a state makes abortion a felony. Those who help perform one or help someone get one can be punished with up to five years in prison. It goes into effect in two weeks.

Biden said that he and Vice President Kamala Harris "stand with the vast majority of Americans who support a woman’s right to choose."

"We will continue to fight to protect reproductive rights and call on Congress to pass a law restoring the protections of Roe v. Wade for women in every state," stated Biden.

Democrats are once again on the right side of history here. It falls to all of us to show up in November to vote Biden in for a second term and to hand him a Democratic majority that can enshrine reproductive rights.

BREAKING: Nuclear bombshell hits MAGA world as Maine officially bars Donald Trump from its state primary ballot — making it the second state in the country to do so over his insurrectionism.

This is code red for Trump's 2024 campaign...

Maine's Secretary of State Shenna Bellows made the decision to bar Trump because the 14th Amendment to the Constitution explicitly states that insurrectionist cannot hold political office.

"I do not reach this conclusion lightly," wrote Bellows wrote. “Democracy is sacred … I am mindful that no Secretary of State has ever deprived a presidential candidate of ballot access based on Section Three of the Fourteenth Amendment. I am also mindful, however, that no presidential candidate has ever before engaged in insurrection.”

Bellows' decision will almost certainly be appealed.
