@jdcmedlock agree. i prefer when claude tells me 'this is a bad idea' over gpt praising everything. because then you start to trust it, and it just feeds you garbage.
@karpathy i see this every day at work. most people around me are still in the 'better google' group. the gap is not because models are hard, it's because nobody showed people how to set up their work with them properly.
@signulll fully agree. example from logistics: calculating a route costs almost nothing now, but being responsible for the cargo if it doesn't arrive is still expensive.

@poteto not sure. if we talk about the code of a real product, sooner or later you have to optimize and improve it, because programming gets better every day and people come up with something new every day.
@yongfook honestly, "just vibe code it" is very optimistic. people still spend a huge amount of time on the idea, building, tests, marketing and sales.
