So NOBO and NOBW have issued a circular that they will not be joining UFBU strike call and will agitate for 5 days banking through work to rule agitation.
I respect their right to take indepent call on agitation but doubt on efficacy of work to rule in forcing government to implement 5 days banking .
Are 7 lakh plus bankers really able to implement work to rule agitation call by their unions . I have serious doubts about officers really following their associations call on work to rule particularly those posted in branches and verticals .
Nobo and nobw limitations on going on strike against their own government is understandable and expected one .

Though I am not in sync with UFBU leadership on PLI issue but I am happy that even belated one ufbu leadership is in sync with me on 5 days banking week issue so our whole hearted support to all strike call on 5 days banking week issue and now my only wish is that ufbu leadership goes ahead with its strike program and strike is not called off or deferred till government announces .

Only if ufbu had given a strike call from 29 march to 31 march 26 as follows up of 27 jan strike things could have been different on both PLI and 5 days banking week issue.
But now no point in looking back and now it is matter of now or never and all 7 lakh plus PSB bankers should give their 200 pc to observe such a strike which has never happened in the past in banking industry.
And my special request to all scale 4 and above officers to support this strike in every possible way including actual participation in strike .
Abhi nahi to kabhi nahi
5 days banking week is our right .
