Human beings copy flaws far quicker than they copy virtues. When you surround yourself with people who have low standards, you tend to drop yours. Bad habits require zero effort to replicate.

[Freedom Flotilla Coalition @GazaFFlotilla]

As @GretaThunberg makes her way to #Gaza aboard the ‘Madleen,’ the #FreedomFlotillaCoalition continues to honor the promise we made to the Palestinians in Gaza back in 2008: to sail until Israel’s illegal siege is broken.

Greta's powerful message reminds us that climate justice and social justice are inseparable. The ongoing violence in Gaza, fueled by the machinery of war, not only perpetuates genocide but also contributes to the global climate crisis. The fossil fuels required for military operations, combined with the environmental destruction caused by warfare, intensify climate change.

The conduct of war accelerates the loss of biodiversity, contaminates vital water sources, causes soil erosion, and destroys agricultural land. Bombing and shelling devastate ecosystems, polluting air, water, and soil with hazardous materials like depleted uranium and chemicals. We cannot accept a world that allows such human rights violations and environmental destruction to continue unchecked. Now is the time to demand accountability and stand up for justice, both for Palestine and for the planet.

[Ramy Abdu| رامي عبده @RamAbdu]

By my friend Yousri Al-Ghoul:

Two days ago, as my wife was returning to the Ard Al-Ghoul area, she was shocked to see a child no older than three, with both feet amputated, crawling toward a garbage mound, searching for a scrap of bread, surrounded by flies in a heartbreaking scene.

At that moment, I remembered the image of the Sudanese girl photographed by Kevin Carter — the photo that won him the Pulitzer Prize — as she lay dying of hunger with a vulture looming behind her, waiting for her death.
Carter later took his own life, haunted by that image in his dreams and waking life.

So I asked myself: How many journalists would end their lives if they came to Gaza and saw what war has done to our children?
How would a journalist ever return home after witnessing tens of thousands of amputated children being slaughtered — not just by hunger, but by bombing, siege, and betrayal?

In Gaza, the vultures don’t wait — they bomb.

Consider the situation. 👉The street emotion stays with Imran. The governmental power goes to coalitions led by PML-N. The real power stays with COAS Asim Munir’s Pindi. This is a perfect HOW NOT-TO-RUN-THE-COUNTRY formula.
