Kashmir youth are beginning to give up on education.
NITI Aayog reports a 44.8% decline in admissions in J&K. This is not just a statistic, it is a warning.
With youth making up nearly 70% of our population and unemployment reportedly at 32%, the sharp fall in higher secondary and higher education enrolment should deeply concern us.
One of the major reasons is the growing sense that education does not guarantee employment, equal opportunity or a secure future. A flawed reservation policy has further deepened the perception of inequality and exclusion among our young people.
Behind these numbers are dreams being put on hold and a generation losing hope.
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un
Deeply saddened to hear about the passing of MP Engineer Rashid’s father. No son should have to endure the pain of losing a parent while being kept away from his family. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannah and give strength to his loved ones in this difficult time.
FitnigorrOpinions started as a small idea, and it’s still growing, theres a lot to achieve, but the love it has received is beyond anything I imagined.
Thank you to my fellow Kashmiris, and every single person who supported, shared, and believed in this space. What I’ve felt throughout is support and it’s warmth.
Grateful. Truly. ❤️
