This account has been crypto for years, but I spend most of my time building software.

So I’m changing it with me: dev work, AI coding, product decisions and the stupid problems created by solving earlier stupid problems.

Astra didn't find any new issues with my codebase. Not sure if that's a compliment to me or an insult to Astra

Probably going to be some time where this is awkward for employees where their bosses ask why they are burning more usage or working less hours

Got a feeling we'll see a lot of people claim Astra burns tokens too fast, because it does get through tokens faster than previous models.

Seems like it gets work done faster though, so the amount of work per token actually feels better to me

@dabit3 Been building a synthetic test data tool for a few months now, starting to get close to release so I'd use the plan to get it over the line!

Would also be happy to demo where I'm up to with the build so far!

Love OpenAI but honestly a pretty disappointing launch day by their standards.

Not talking about everything being down, since that was out of their control, but the lack of comms plus hyping everyone up as if it was today only to reveal just a few big orgs will get it today...

Make sure you have prompts ready to burn your usage when Astra drops since if it's anything like the Sol release we'll be getting a lot of resets in the first couple of days 🫡
