Yeah, this was clearly a failure of woke 1.0
The SAT and standardized testing are a positive good. Removing them did not eliminate inequality, it just shifted *even more* weight onto things that are easily shaped by class.

@InvertTheWing Switzerland literally are a competent team though. They just got hard done by an unlucky foolish mistake by Embolo and VAR reversal. Switzerland were the much better team before that red card.
@theoldzealand And they haven't looked convincing in any of their knockout games. Respectfully, not saying they can't win it but I'd be shocked if they did. France, Spain, & England have just been much better throughout the tournament.
Crazy to remember that this Switzerland side is quite literally equivalent to a mid/upper mid-table Bundesliga side in quality(Freiburg, Gladbach, Hoffenheim, Frankfurt, Augsburg, etc.) and yet they have been one of the best teams in the tournament.
Really reminds you of the difference in quality between club football and international football.
