By my count, this is at least the 9th time Trump has delayed or canceled attacks to give Iran its strongest hand: negotiations.

Iran doesn’t negotiate to surrender leverage. It negotiates to preserve it -- reconstitute, rebuild & buy time.

Tehran knows Trump’s ceiling. It knows his threats expire before its leverage does, and it knows the political clock only improves its hand.

Vance already signed the MOU Iran accepted & Dems are even more eager to end the war.

This is a forever war doom loop: threaten, pause, negotiate, rebuild, repeat.

At this point, unilateral retreat would be less embarrassing than pretending this mess is a strategy.
