Passport renewal stuck (DL3075775863725). After checking, police says 10-month stay in Gurgaon is too short, though no such rule was mentioned earlier. Friends faced same issue, got cleared after paying bribe. Is this how system works?

@passportsevamea @rpodelhi @MEAIndia @DrSJaishankar Got a call from the police saying verification rules differ by state, in Haryana, a minimum 1-year stay is required. I thought @MEAIndia sets these rules centrally.
Is this actually true or just a cover-up? 🤔@rpodelhi @passportsevamea

@passportsevamea @rpodelhi @MEAIndia This is the SS of official passport website which clearly states, only address proof of current stay needs to be furnished and no such minimum period of stay is required, all the previous addresses were shared by the police clearly. @MEAIndia @DrSJaishankar

#Fraud @FabHotels Came to Mumbai for the first time and booked @FabHotels (prepaid) for 2 nights. Hotel Denied checking saying I have to pay them in cash to which I cancelled the prepaid booking. Called Fab customer care and explained them the issue. (Cont)
