US climate policy must hold foreign nations, like China, accountable for their carbon emissions- and a recent poll revealed that voters in swing states agree. With a border carbon adjustment, we would do just that and ensure that American manufacturers come first. 🇺🇸

Depending on the product segment, the U.S. steel industry is between 75% and 320% more carbon efficient than its foreign competitors, including China.
This means that the US steel industry stands to benefit greatly from its carbon advantage under a Border Carbon Adjustment. 🇺🇸
