calm in the ICU..every patient improving...relaxed atmosphere..then suddenly an elderly patient with IHD developed atrial fibrillation with FVR.. became hypotensive, required urgent cardioversion, remained unresponsive, and had to be intubated.. nightmare
@Ausbones patient who looks ill usually gets everyone's attention. patient who looks well but deteriorating is often dangerous one..because delayed recognition leads to late treatment
..this is where an experience of doctor and ability to spot subtle warning signs makes all d difference
