Cancelling the National Language Policy in Nigeria and making English language the sole language of instruction in early K12 is ill-advised. Try harder but we're all still going to write the ridiculously priced IELTS to prove our worthiness to use the English language.

Weird living close to the border. I ended up in France while going home from work yesterday. I only left for vacation for two weeks and they've changed the bus routes. From my office home is just 3 bus stops, exactly the number of stops that landed me in France.

I think it's amazing how time flies. 4 school runs, 3 conferences, a publication & 1 qualifying exam later, I finished my first year of PhD. And, I am happy to join the Geneva Graduate Institute (IHEID) as a junior research fellow for my second year.

School reached out to say I am 1 of 2 best applicants and gave some merit scholarship for my first year.

First conference acceptance.

First journal article upcoming in feb in a reputable Comparative Ed journal.
