ESLF joined Dabigreena Women and Youths Empowerment Centre in partnership with JUWACI to mark World Menstrual Health Day 2026 with menstrual health sensitisation of students at the St. Joseph U.B.E. Junior Secondary School, Nyiman Makurdi.
Today ESLF under BENGONET marked World Menstrual Health & Hygiene Day 2026 by sensitising students of U.B.E. Secondary Sch., Kanshio Makurdi, Benue State about menstrual health management, distributing sanitary pads, IEC materials and reciting of the menstrual pledge.

Our World Kidney Day 2026 sensitisation online, on radio and in a secondary school hall bordered on health tips to protect the kidney such as reducing salt intake, avoiding alchohol and smoking, regular exercise and drinking water, among others. #CaringForPeople
On World Kidney Day marked on 12 March, 2026, ESLF in partnership with other Civil Society Organisations carried out sensitisation and an awareness campaign about kidney health on Radio Maria FM, online and at NKST Secondary School, High Level Makurdi.
Members of the Wednesday morning weekly prayer meeting of NKST Makurdi Central Church we encouraged to take preventive measures against cancer including self breast examination, cervical cancer screening, proper diet and regular exercise to fight cancer.
