@shishirdahal@DOGE@POTUS@elonmusk No ifs and buts, just don't flow money to these rascals until and unless your authority is convinced by the progress that has been made by aid.
Hello @DOGE , @POTUS , @elonmusk
Please refrain from sending taxpayer money or aid to Nepal, particularly to the Government of Nepal (GON), NGOs, and INGOs. There is substantial evidence that these funds have been misused for corruption, political agendas, and non-productive purposes. If financial assistance is necessary, it should come with stringent accountability measures, similar to those required of federal employees (e.g., 'How was the fund utilized and what progress has been made each month?'). The funds provided have unfortunately fostered corruption instead of development. This misuse of resources must be stopped immediately!
Some of my favorite books (some of which are AJAC recs accumulated over the years)
These will likely put you in the top 1% of health & fitness knowledge + the most important resource of all
1) Deep Nutrition by Dr. Catherine Shanahan
“Food is like a language, an unbroken information stream that connects every cell in your body to an aspect of the natural world. The better the source and the more undamaged the message when it arrives to your cells, the better your health will be.”
2) The Wisdom of Mike Mentzer by John Little
“Mike believed he had to grow in all areas of his humanity. He studied philosophy to better determine truth from falsehood...art to understand both its meaning and purpose...psychology to better learn the workings of the mind...logic to learn the rules of correct thought...the sciences to understand the workings of human physiology and how best to strengthen his body...business to learn how to earn a living by working not for others but for himself and on his own terms...communication to better express to others the knowledge he had obtained”
3) Real Food for Pregnancy by Lily Nichols
“Nutrients work synergistically. Nature is not stupid. And a supplement is rarely superior to what’s available in real, whole foods.”
4) Magnesium Miracle by Dr. Carolyn Dean
“Magnesium deficiency can produce symptoms of anxiety or depression, including muscle weakness, fatigue, eye twitches, insomnia, anorexia, apathy, apprehension, poor memory, confusion, anger, nervousness, and rapid pulse.”
5) Outlive by Dr. Peter Attia
“Longevity itself, and healthspan in particular, doesn’t really fit into the business model of our current healthcare system...Health insurance companies won’t pay a doctor very much to tell a patient to change the way he eats, or to monitor his blood glucose levels in order to help prevent him from developing type 2 diabetes...Nearly all the money flows to treatment rather than prevention—and when I say 'prevention,' I mean prevention of human suffering.”
6) Breath by James Nestor
“The perfect breath is this: Breathe in for about 5.5 seconds, then exhale for 5.5 seconds. That’s 5.5 breaths a minute for a total of about 5.5 liters of air.”
7) Unleashing the Wild Physique by Vince Gironda & Robert Kennedy
“Remember that developing muscle is a two way situation: (1) building muscle fibers by increasing resistance to overcompensate for future stress and (2) developing more capillaries and nerve pathways to feed the new growth.”
8) Body by Science by John Little
“Your muscles deal only with force-production requirements, determined by the resistance to which the muscles are exposed—whether that resistance comes in the form of a free weight, a Nautilus machine, or a bucket of rocks. The scientific literature backs this up: according to the few properly performed studies that measured the effects of free weights versus machines, both are equally effective.”
9) Science & Development of Muscle Hypertrophy by Brad Schoenfeld
“Training across a wide spectrum of repetition ranges (1 to 20+) is recommended to ensure the complete development of the whole muscle. There is merit to focusing on a medium-repetition range (6- to 12RM) and devoting specific training cycles to lower- and higher-repetition training.”
10) The Comfort Crisis by Michael Easter
“Scientists are finding that certain discomforts protect us from physical and psychological problems like obesity, heart disease, cancers, diabetes, depression, and anxiety, and even more fundamental issues like feeling a lack of meaning and purpose”
Bonus: PubMed → Papers provide the most up to date, unbiased perspective on topics of interest. Sometimes authors publish books to push a specific narrative so one of the best ways to circumvent that is going directly to the source.
The rising culture of single parenting itself is a threat to humankind. Govt of elite nations paying for getting married to their public is an indicator. Look at China, Japan and now S. Korea.
Does this seem like a progressive society at all?
In the name of modernization, feminism and freedom, it's very easy to hook up in a casual relationship and casual sex but hard to find a genuine person as wife/husband.
