@crybabybtzzz @lobotomyze I think kids are genuinely curious, whether consciously or not, about how adults will react to what they’re saying. imo kids say outlandish things often to gauge the safe adults around them. she gave the kid love and attention and they saw that she was a safe person - idk 🤷♀️
@IrradiatedMouse as a teacher, ME TOO!!! of course i want your child to come to school but if they are sick, keep them home!!
i’m also in the minority and encourage family vacations
@ExquisiteWill@plumithia i bought that exact kit from michaels and it was SO easy and user friendly and i felt so accomplished at the end! highly recommend 💖
@biggs457 i had a student in my kindergarten class last year whose mom told me in October that she was selective mute for the first 5 years of her life - this lil girlfriend never stopped talking in my classroom 🤪
@chescaleigh@friendlyblkhoty and i can bet you soooo many white women were messaging her saying “it’s okay!! you just made a lil oopsie! enjoy your honeymoon 🧡🙏”
@ArielDumas i was in the bathroom at a community theater before seeing hedwig and the angry inch and a very old woman washing her hands next to me goes “my daughter did the set design for the show. she told me i’m going to HATE it” and then walked out
@SebastianSandv2 @aarmlovi right but in america it is agreed upon. you go to a restaurant anywhere in the states and there is a social agreement in place to tip.
