Alex Pretti was a man.
He was white.
He was a first responder.
He had a permit to carry his licensed firearm.
Will the fact that it happened to him finally make you realize it could happen to you?
This. Needs. To. Stop.
The amount of people who think civilians should always remain calm around law enforcement but give “trained” law enforcement passes to be scared or excitable is truly astounding
His name is Alex Jeffrey Pretti. He was 37 years old.
He was a licensed nurse.
He was recording ICE and defending a female protester from their aggression.
And they executed him.
The United States federal government really want you to believe that this soccer mom with her lab in the car who's last words were a calm "That's fine, dude. I'm not mad at you." was a domestic terrorist. Beyond insanity.
A Black man was killed by ICE (off duty) in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve. And like Renée Good, he was an American citizen. But most people have not heard about Keith Porter.
I need y’all to think about and understand something. Black people experience this lack of visibility all the time when it comes to being victims. There are countless Black victims that no one has even heard about, much less seen the public fight demanding answers and justice.
Thanks in advance for caring.
His Mother could barely stand tonight at his vigil. He was a girl dad. He was a friend to many. He was a Black Man and an American citizen.
ICE killed him on New Year’s Eve in LA.
His name was Keith Porter 🕊️
