21 years ago, The Guardian reported that by the year 2020:
1️⃣ The Bering Strait would be open year-round
2️⃣ European ships would routinely pass through the Arctic to reach Asia
3️⃣ Polar bear populations would decline
4️⃣ Snow would disappear from the tops of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Kenya
5️⃣ Sea levels would start rising by 7 mm / year due to accelerated Greenland ice melt
How have these predictions fared?
Not well, they’re batting zero.
Such a lovely summer so far! So many bees, butterflies and birds: they love the sunshine and warmth.
First few glow-worms, as usual in Wimbledon week..
Less Global Fire
Halfway through 2026, the world has burned at record-low levels
Every continent is below average, and Africa, Americas, and Europe are at record lows
Media only shows when stuff is burning, leaving us badly informed on climate change

Every time a sport allows a man to take part in a category specifically for females they are telling women & girls they are not worthy of fair sport.
On today's date in 1901, over half of the U.S. was at or above 90°F and nearly 9% of the land area was at least 100°F. The same weather occurring this week occurred exactly 125 years ago, but according to most climate alarmists, it was just weather in 1901, but this week's three-day event is undeniable proof that we are facing a climate catastrophe.

The Met Office just found a new record temperature in Norfolk nearly half a degree hotter than their first claim — at a station in someone's back garden yards from a thick wood.
South winds turned the trees and hedges into a sun trap with zero air flow.
It's a Class 5 site worse than the last junk one they used.
They keep these stations running to manufacture the highs they want.

Royal Meteorological Society tells us to ignore colder-than-average winter and just look at the highest temps. Classic case of cherry-picking data to “prove” non-existent climate crisis, unsupported by any logical analysis of tiny effects of man-made CO2
Strange how quiet the global warming alarmists are when Japan gets inundated with record amounts of snow, yet predictably and on schedule they produce the red maps every summer.
It might not be about climate. It might be about money.
RAF Coningsby that recorded the highest temperature in the heatwave of 2022 is a Class 5.
Categorised as a 5 because the site’s unsuitability - close proximity to runways and structures.
Proves your point.
I should have been writing comedy for the last decade but my UK/Irish friends and colleagues watched and even helped trans activists destroy my career and marriage. One by one, they all joined in, until even Arthur Mathews, Neil Hannon and Ardal O'Hanlon fell into line.
Evidently you struggle with both reading and graph comprehension.
So, I’ll lay it down it again. 💅
Over the last century, there has been no increase in heatwaves in the United Stares. My findings have been confirmed in a new paper published in the Journal of Theoretical and Applied Climatology, Christy (2026).

These trends are consistent across most of North America too.
In eastern Australia, where fairly reliable century-long records exist, heatwaves were more common and severe prior to the 1910s.

Most of Africa, Asia, and South America don’t have an abundance of data prior to 1950, so a fair long-term comparison is impossible, though there have been decreases in Southern Africa (Meque et al., 2022).

Now, if you think it’s entirely “CO₂ and humans,” do us all a favor and net zero yourself so that you quit contributing to the problem. You’re not special or better than anyone else.
Idaho, Montana & Wyoming in America all face heavy snowfall this weekend. Why doesn’t BBC report this intense winter storm in June? Can’t they explain how it fits the global warming story?
Arctic temperature shows coldest May and June 2026, in spite of a heat wave in Europe.
The hot few days in Europe was caused by a heat dome. Nothing to do with CO2.
In 1957, the temperature in London reached 35.6 degrees and people remember they just enjoyed it. Even a policeman recalls they still wore their full serge uniforms and helmets while walking the beat.
The sun shone for a total of 284 hours that June with no hysteria or sobbing about climate change from the left or the BBC who, back then, also encouraged people to make the most of the good weather.
So what causes very hot weather in some years in the UK if not climate change?
Very simply put, it's the natural phenomenon called El Nino that occurs between every 2 - 7 years and has done since the Ice Age. It's what we're experiencing now - the El Nino effect which was first officially recognised in the 1700s before cars, machines and gas boilers that a certain section of the population would have you believe causes climate change.
It's El Nino, folks. Nothing more. Nothing less. Calm down climate loons.☀️🥵
Good to see BBC TV News warning us that the current Global warming temperatures, apparently about to kill us all off, are the same as recorded in,er...........1957.
The UK has hit 35°C+ in 18 different years on record.
In 1976, it hit 35°C+ for five consecutive days.
So yes, it gets hot sometimes.
But can we all calm down a bit… and also get rid of the doom maps?
So in 1976 the record June Temperature was 35.6 degrees and today’s was 35.7… so in 50 years we’ve pretty much equalled temperatures experienced then… am I missing something about global warming 🤔🤔🤔 or is this just another word for summer 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Just for context here are some facts about the heatwave of 1976;
It lasted from mid June to late August
For 15 consecutive days from 23rd June to 7th July temperatures exceeded 32.2C everywhere
The hottest day on 3rd July reached 35.9C in Cheltenham
Calm the fuck down 🌞🌞🌞🌞

The Met Office said southern UK would hit 37C at 4pm today, with a high of 38C. Their actual stations never got above 35C.
Screenshots show them forecasting 37C where no thermometer exists. They claim it's hotter at your house than at Heathrow.
If they announce a new June record, it's not based on real data.
