@duty2warn “Dictatorships foster oppression, dictatorships foster servitude, dictatorships foster cruelty; more abominable is the fact that they foster idiocy.”
Jorge Luis Borges
@Zuk_DC Both can be wrong. RFK will not generate the income it is predicted to (no stadium ever has)
There are plenty of championship courses near here already. Not every golfer is able to enjoy championship golf - unless they cheat. And Trump is well known for that.
@JamesHPercival It is also a useful counter factual to the statements in filings. The lawyers in the room were given every chance to agree with their boss but did not choose to do so. It rightly puts the credibility of the filing and the DOJ in doubt.
@Publius215@CommanderHail21@SaveEastPo $140-160 for Bethpage Black and the Long Island authorities don’t post if it is making money or being subsidised.
What do you think the ownership structure and fees will be at East Potomac after the renovation? I can find plenty of Fazio designed courses at >$400 per round
@Publius215@CommanderHail21@SaveEastPo You are missing the point. A PGA standard course will price out the thousands of ordinary golfers who are happy to get in 18 holes at less than $50.
@JJVibe Call Dunning and Kruger. Not only on her but the people who employed her.
Self-confidence has now completely outstripped competence.
It’s a tough job, but she could have said no and her employers should have said “No Way”
But blonds are apparently more employable than brains.
@AbnormalNed@bella5171281 It seems a bizarre list. I would love to see the metrics they used. Of the ten I am able to remember Nixon and Bush J were the most arrogant and dumb until Trump arrived. He beats them all into a cocked hat. Thank God for term limits. But he has damaged the county beyond belief
@PaulEmbery The mistake was the PSNI “intelligence” assessment that said there would likely be no significant resistance from the Garvaghy Road community.
Once that consideration was shown to be false, the reinstatement of the status quo is a logical, legal and reasonable outcome.
@valienteylibre7 When you own you have the right to exclude others from the property - subject to higher law and agreements. When you rent you sell that right to someone else - still subject to the higher laws and any others you might agree. Rent grants rights against the landlord too.
@Zara_588 Bus is a London Routemaster
Traffic is driving on the left
Hot Dog sign is priced in cents
Fashion style is definitely American and not U.K. af the time.
Plenty of other, more ambiguous clues too.
@LTFC_Dave@fesshole Agreed.
Stupid fucker doesn’t know about the importance of internal temperatures for food.
Also veggie sausages are a fucking abomination. Even Greggs can’t get them right.
Celebrate the food you eat - choose it wisely - cook it properly - use a thermometer and eat happily.
@dcpublicschools Sorry, but quantity is not the same as quality. Sent my child to a science camp to find her typing prompts into an AI app and tie dying. None of which came with an explanation of the science of Color or intelligence. The programs need to promote understanding not mere activity.
@SeniorVPofOps@KlasfeldReports Is it possible that there is more than one way to interpret 8647 or does your mind only allow for one?
I am sure you are a proud defender of the second amendment- how about the first one?
@alvaro_maestro You seem to confuse risk with certainty and human beings with mere economic units of production.
If you cannot maintain standards of excellence without being an arsehole to your employees then the weakness is yours not theirs.
@fesshole Put potatoes with their skins on in the microwave. Turn them every 2 ½ minutes until they are cooked through. Scoop them out and mash them with butter, salt, pepper and more butter. Quicker, lighter and fluffier than Smash or boiling. (And you can load the skins with chilli too)
