@geviskajyan What exactly was the outcome the ANC wanted? An Armenia permanently beholden to Russia and its oligarchs at the expense of its sovereignty? Ur vision isn’t pro-Armenia or pro-U.S.-Armenia ties—it’s an Armenia w/o real independence, moral resolve, or ability to prosper on its own.
@AzeriTimes So reciprocate. Establish diplomatic relations, free our civilians in your captivity and let's live in peace. MOST OF ALL, let the TWO countries respect each other's sovereignty.
@KitzyWitzy@Jerusalem_Post If criticism is warranted and not motivated by hatred, then yes. No person or group should be beyond reproach. The ability to question, scrutinize, and criticize is part of the bedrock of any healthy democracy.
@KenRoth Autocratic? That's a bit much. Autocratic = Israel, Turkey, Azerbaijan. I agree his behaviour as of late has been worriesome, but he is no Orban, or worse leaders from those aforementioned countries.
@Adi_Schwartz@bulutuzay_ Erdogan is like Netanyahu. They both get blank checks to do as they please, even if it comes at the expense of the international order.
@ANCA_DC Neither should the ANCA. I’d much rather see the U.S. invested in Armenia’s future than Russia. Do you need a history lesson? Armenia is asserting its influence, but it’s doing so to strengthen ties with the EU and the U.S.—and that’s something we should welcome after 2020.
@HellenicEchoes Greek culture absolutely interacted with Egypt and Phoenicia. The real issue is that modern Odyssey adaptations erase the actual Homeric world —Greeks, Balkan peoples, Anatolians, Cypriots, and Levantines —the very cultures named throughout the Iliad and Odyssey.
@USAmbassadorGR Are you serious? You are the U.S. Ambassador to Greece, a country with incredibly rich history and close ally of the U.S., and you chose to celebrate the opening of a McDonald's location?
@Gerashchenko_en She won't see the day when Armenia and Ukraine prosper outside of Russian hegemony, on account of her treatment. She should focus on her "recovery," because God won't have her back.
@kbalian90 Incidents like this raise serious concerns about how extremism is handled within Israel. No society is immune, but failing to confront radicalization early—and to act decisively against it—creates space for violence like this.
A stark reminder of the #Armenian#Genocide—unimaginable cruelty and stolen dignity by #Turkey. For Armenians, this history fuels empathy for those facing violence and displacement and today, including #Palestinians, and a resolve: the world must not look away. #palestine#Israel
@AdinHaykin1 Two people don’t represent an entire ethnicity—that’s just racism. Criticize individuals if you want, but don’t smear millions of people. Also, they're both AMERICANS. Get it right. Focus on having Israel recognize the Armenian Genocide.
@KarinaLMariani@1972r2c3@ACOM_es Karina: do you get paid by tweet or lie from Israel? Just curious. Israel should not repress religious freedom. Full stop. It's a right afforded to any democratic state. Could the leaders of the Christian rite not enter their religious building? Please advise,
