אך ביום שלפני ביצוע גזר הדין, נודע להם כי בכוונת הרב יעקב גולדמן, להגיע בבוקר ולהתפלל איתם לפני התליה,
ללוות אותם בדרכם האחרונה.

הם הבינו שתוכניתם עלולה לסכן את הרב, אז הם קראו לו לבוא מוקדם, בלילה.
הם נתנו לו תנ"ך עם מסרים אחרונים למשפחותיהם וביקשו ממנו לצאת מהתא ולהתפלל במסדרון.

הוא יצא.
והם התחילו לשיר ״אדון עולם אשר מלך״.

ברזני אחז ברימון ביד שמאל.
פיינשטיין נצמד אליו,
חזה אל חזה כשהרימון בין לבבותיהם.

וכשהם חבוקים, הפעילו את הרימונים,
בטרם ישיגם התליין.
והפיצוץ הרעיד את הבניין כולו.

כשהבריטים פרצו פנימה,
הם מצאו שתי גופות מחוברות זו לזו.
לא הצליחו להפריד ביניהם.
הם התחבקו חזק מדי.

בגין זכר את הסיפור הזה כל חייו.
ובשנת 1981, כשהשדרן דודו טופז,
בז למחנה הלאומי,
וכינה את בני עדות המזרח,
צ׳חצ׳חים ושין גימלים,
בגין הגיב בנאום שנחרט בזיכרון הלאומי:

זה לא היה נאום פוליטי.
זו הייתה זעקה אמיתית מהנשמה.

אחת עשרה שנים אחרי אותו נאום,
הוא כתב בצוואתו:

״יחיאל יקירי, בבוא היום - אני מבקש לקבור אותי בהר הזיתים, ליד מאיר פיינשטיין ומשה ברזני.״

לא בחלקת גדולי האומה.
אלא ליד שני בחורים בני עשרים.

למה?
כי בעיני בגין, הם היוו סמל לאחדות ישראל.
אשכנזי ועיראקי שלחמו יחדיו למען חירות ישראל,
וכשהגיעה שעתם, התחבקו כל כך חזק,
עד שאי אפשר היה להפריד ביניהם גם במוות.

היום, ב׳ באייר תשפ״ו, 79 שנים מאז אותו בוקר,
כמה ישראלים יודעים מי זה מאיר פיינשטיין?
כמה שמעו על משה ברזני?
כמה מבקרים בקבר שלהם בהר הזיתים?

תפקידנו וחובתנו, לוודא שהדור הבא יידע מי היו פיינשטיין וברזני.

לוודא שנבין למה בגין התעקש להיקבר דווקא שם.

כי כששוכחים את פיינשטיין וברזני - שוכחים גם מה אנחנו אמורים להיות.

I want to make Restore Britain's position on illegal migrants abundantly clear.

Every single one would go.

If you've come here illegally or stayed here illegally.

You will be deported.

And yes, that includes women and children - other parties are too scared to mention them. Reform have said they won't deport women. 'Not part of our plan' for the next Government, Farage says.

That is a mistake.

They all need to go.

It won't be particularly pleasant viewing, but it needs to happen.
