Griffin thinks GPUs are a commodity: "GPUs, like airlines, have a very low marginal cost to run... the moment you have overcapacity, pricing goes into freefall."
Ken Griffin's bear case is supply passing demand in a business where the next unit costs almost nothing to serve, the same setup that took telecom pricing straight down after the 2000 fiber buildout. He thinks every AI return model in use today assumes that never happens. $NVDA $AVGO

gerçekten de öyle.

Revolut CEO Nik Storonsky on why it’s easier for founders to build great businesses than professional CEOs:
“Professional CEOs optimize certain metrics, but they’re not 10X people.”
“They're just there for their bonuses effectively for 3-4 years. As a result, they don't make bold decisions. They always play defense. They never play offense.”
“Professional CEOs, ultimately their goal is to protect their job. They think about themselves and the company as two entities. I think about myself and the company as one entity.”
“It's much easier to compete against non founders. If I would be competing with all the banks and they were all founder-led, as a world, we would all have much better products by now. That's not what's happening.”
Marc Andreessen: the people who invent a technology are "the least qualified" to predict what it does to jobs.
Geoffrey Hinton, who helped invent modern AI, predicts "rampant unemployment" and UBI.
On David Senra's Founders podcast, Andreessen explained why he doesn't buy it, with a story about Thomas Edison.
"The one I'll pick on is Geoffrey Hinton, who's an actual self-declared socialist... and people ask him, 'What's the future of AI?' And of course, he says, 'It's going to be rampant unemployment, and we'll need to give UBI to everybody.' It's like, what a coincidence, the answer from a socialist is communism... But people think, because he's one of the inventors of AI, that he must be the guy who knows."
"For him, it was just obvious that the application of the record player was that everybody would buy a record player, and then everybody would buy a library of discs that would be... religious sermons from all the great preachers of the time... And of course, the record player drops, and immediately, of course, it's music. It's ragtime, and swing, then it's jazz. And Edison's just completely horrified."
"If Edison didn't know what the phonograph was going to get used for, the idea that... whatever, Joe AI entrepreneur is going to be able to forecast the economic implications... You're like, 'No. That's not going to happen.' And in fact, the people who invent the technology are often the least qualified people to understand the long-term implications, because they're too buried in the specifics of the here and now."
"And by the way, I don't know if there's anybody that can predict big cultural, or economic or social trends, but it's certainly not somebody who's been in the lab for 20 years, including myself."
