The Yemeni military says the Houthis are using Iranian air-defence weapons modified into heat-seeking “loitering missiles” that can remain airborne for up to 25 minutes, potentially threatening civilian aircraft and international air routes over the southern Red Sea.

At #UNGA81 in New York, German Foreign Minister @AussenMinDE expressed Germany’s solidarity with Yemen and called for an immediate end to Houthi attacks.

Germany has also joined the G7 in condemning continued Houthi strikes and calling for an immediate halt to military attacks and threats to civilian shipping in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab.

Despite the horrific injury from a Houthi sniper bullet to his neck, journalist @taha_saleh_taiz bravely chose to stay alongside the people and the victims to document what is happening in his city.
