PSG Tech remains one of Tamil Nadu’s premier institutions outside the university system, and one of the state’s strongest engineering institutions.

If you want to debate MBA institutions, debate them. Don’t drag down another institution to avoid the actual question.

XLRI was conceived from the outset as a dedicated management institution, whereas PSG’s management education began as a department within an engineering college and only later evolved into the PSG Institute of Management. PSGIM became a standalone management institution only 45 years after XLRI was founded.

At the same time, Chennai and Trichy have already received a maximum share of major centrally funded institutions.

Tamil Nadu should look beyond the same destinations when the next major institution is considered.

If Tamil Nadu gets another institution such as an IISER or IIM, #Coimbatore should be a serious contender.

Coimbatore is the next Pune. Everybody knows this but not the successive TN Govt's. Zero investment in infra - Be it ring road, waste management, Sipcot, IT Parks, Bus Terminal. The city is unlucky even in terms of air, rail and even metro. Everything is self made there...🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️
